Pushy Rednesday.....

It has been a few weeks since my last rednesday. I am lacking motivation. So many things going on, as my dear bloggy sister Julie said on her blog: "I am learning...learning...God is pushing my buttons...teaching me many things through circumstances...".

Don't get me wrong, I am very GRATEFUL for so many blessings, one of them the WONDERFUL weather here in Cali, I am hurting for my friends back East, they have been hit REALLY hard with snow. I don't even want to imagine My Boricua in that weather, He is still in constant pain, but at least here is sunny.

We have learned that my dear brother in law was diagnosed with lung cancer stage IV and it has spread to the pancreas, this has been very difficult on all of Us. If you find it in your heart, can you please say a prayer for him?

Found this basket at a Salvation Army, I paid less then one dollar, now it's home to ...

this gorgeous plant, I fell in love with it so it HAD to be mine lol...I try not to think so much, just pray, I am trying to make our home a cheerful place to be in.
.

I saw this beauty a few times at a everyday yard sale, I inquired the price once, but didn't have the re$ource$ for it. I kept going that road but it was always closed until one day... and know it is mine. ;) Full of this and that of course.

This are candelholders, love them.

And this is one of my favorites, it was very cheap, I have learned to thrift 'in bulk' so I can get better prices. Before I used to buy only the item I like and I paid from to 3 to (+) dollars for it, but now I pay the same amount for several little things.

Well it's only the second month of the year, the month of ♥LOVE♥, hope you all have plenty and more of it in your lives.

Hi, thanks for coming by and for telling me of plate hangers at the dollar store! I've never seen any there but I *DO* tend to get overwhelmed in stores and i miss a lot of little things!

Wow, I've never heard of paying in bulk for stuff at the thrift store. Do you just ask for a discount or is that their policy?

Blessings of healing and peace for BrotherIL! ♥

oh Cotty...I am so sad to hear you have MORE heartaches to deal with...God is definitely pushing...your heart is getting activated, girl...so many times we just want to shut down, and crawl in a whole and close tight ...like a clamshell, and put a sign out saying DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO PRY ME OPEN UNTIL ALL STRESS HAS DISAPPEARED!!!!!!
sigh...oh to do that...but then NOBODY would benefit...we wouldn't grow stronger in handling the tough parts of this journey, Our kids wouldn't "catch" the lessons that they see us living out loud that God is working even when things LOOK bad...and our husbands who need our support cause they are feeling the pressures too, would have no one beside them, the "helper"...to walk with them....and our friends and family could not depend on us to be there...and we could say...YES, but what about ME???????? Here is an AWESOME devo I only just read Cotty..I am typing the link in here...see if you can pull it up, because I KNOW it will encourage you and strengthen you..it did for me. I will be praying for your brother-in-law..I am so sorry for this...Cancer is a beast... Hugs and LOVE dear bloggy sis!! PS - LOVE your thrifting finds. It is so patriotic and a RAH Marine wife's love and tribute of her hubby's heroic deeds. love your little pink owl showering hearts too!!!
here's the link to copy and paste to get to it... The title is Enduring the Refiner's Fire. let me know that you could pull it up!!!!

Of course I LOVE all of your patriotic things! If it's red, white and blue, it usually comes home with me. So glad that you were finally able to bring that pretty shelving unit home. Saying prayers for your BIL.
Happy REDnesday,

Boo-Bah, THANK you so much for your prayers!

Rosie, thank you!! I LOVE Americana decor.

Holly Girls, hope you find your hangers. I usually ask if 'this is the best price', most of the times they will give me a discount. The bulk tactic works better at flea markets, I have noticed the sellers overprice a single item, but if you buy several pieces they will give you a good deal.

Carol, Thanks for your prayers. I like red white and blue, specially if it is Vintage.

kathy, thanks for your nice comment. I am happy you liked my blog, also thanks for your prayers.

Sue, I KNOW!! this 'little' feathery friend is here to stay, he he.

Oh Julie... thanks so much for your words, your prayers, your guidance. I opened the link, it was just beautiful, it sound it just like me. There are times and there are 'times'.... when I want to run and never stop, or to sleep, sleep and sleep and wake up to a new pain free day, but... We love my dear BIL so much, he is down there in NC and we are well so far, but I KNOW there is no distance when we pray.
There are other 'annoyances' around me, one in particular is taking my good night sleep away, HE knows what it is, even when I can't even explain it, I know you will pray for me, THANK YOU my dear sis.
My Boricua and I are in constant prayer and this is something I dreamed of for years, wow!! it gives me peace to see him walking so close to God.
Hugs and hugs to you my dear sis, take care, and NEVER forget that I pray for you everyday. ')

Cotty, I am so glad that you and da man are praying together. If a man knew (not in his head, but in his HEART) how MUCH praying with his wife encourages and strengthens her and makes her UBER love him, he would be running to prayer time!!...:-) I will be praying for your heart-times of talking with God. He will comfort you Cotty. And I am GLAD to know you love Jimmy Stewart. Love that Rear Window, and if you have not seen You Can't Take It With You...you have GOT to go out and get it ...One of my FAVORITES!!!!
Hugs Sister!
