Blues on Rednesday...

Well, they came and went, that is My Boricua's appoinments for the retirement. It seems ages ago that I was worried sick about those medical exams. In one or two months we will have the answer, but now I feel 'funny', I don't know how to describe it, blues??? maybe. These past 3 years have been a roller coaster ride plus the Holiday$$$ are here!!!! .

And to keep my mind busy I have been to the flea market several times, I have found so many treasures, here are few of my red ones.

Red tray....

Feeling the Holidays? Got this renuzit air freshener... mmmhhh apples and cinnamon.

Kitchen gadgets on sale and in Red.

Found this great and cute basket with Scotties for only 2 dlls.!!!

Cute 4th. of July sock on sale... .75 cts. ea. pair.

Toy Story Toy Soldiers for my Bambino... well, we all play with them lol and of course Toy Story Comforter with a free Frisbee we got with my new blue Russian kitten.

Some chips from My Beautiful Mexico, years and years without having this brand.

Another gorgeous sunset here at Imperial Valley.

Wanted to see this movie for ages, found it for 1 dollar.

And to celebrate the USMC Birthday today and tomorrow Veterans Day, this gorgeous wreath from the VA Hospital at Syracuse, just love it.

And last an UPDATE on my almost gone finger, lol...

'are those your nails'..that is what my daughter just asked me..LOL LOl..my goodness...oh that tray is absolutely beautiful. I just did a video on my channel today talking about 'bottomless pit'...I shared about what Corrie Ten Boom stated..there is no pit that is so deep that God is not deeper...I also shared that I have hit rock bottom..which I guess means there is no where else to go but up right? ((Hugs))

Julie, you are right, one day at the time, we are learning to trust Our Lord, is not easy, specially me, I love to have EVERY little detail planed and of course things never turn exactly as I planned them, but oh well!!! I will sacrifice myself going to the flea market often, LOL.... Take care.

Angela, those nails I got them at Rite Aid for $ 1.50, it is much cheaper than the 60 dlls. at the mall and they look just as good as those pricey ones. And YES!! once You hit the bottom the only place to go is UP. Hugs to you too.

One Heart, thanks for your visit. ')

Just wanted to stop by and wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. I'm happy for you that you are closer to your family and have now found all the great thrifting in your new hometown. I am still shaking my head in amazement over that $4 mattress topper you found with the $280 price tag still on it! You will love Fried Green Tomatoes. It is one of my favorite movies with some unforgettable characters.

So you are in Imperial Valley, now we are within driving distance! Maybe one day we'll run into each other at a thrift!

Have a great holiday weekend, Cotty.

Un abrazote,
Minnie

Oh yes, I was just thinking it must feel lie a roller coaster when you said it!! To me, uncertainty is the hardest thing to deal with; once I know what is what then I can go on or deal with it. Yet, as I was talking to friends on this subject, we realized nothing in life is ever certain (except death and taxes ;-0 ) and we constantly need to give everything over to the Lord. It is something I always remind myself of....nothing in life is certain....I never know what a day may bring....but God is loving and he does provide.

CACHANILLA73 said...

You are so right NannyKim... only death and taxes, LOL... Still waiting, and there are days when I completely forget about it, but others when I can hear the tic tac of the clock 24 hours.
And YES, God will always provide.
